Week of October 19th-23rd

Abejitas Class
Miss Elsa and Miss Guadalupe
Week of October 19th – October 23rd
Theme of the Week: “Mi Familia / My Family”

Hola Abejitas Parents,
We hope you all have had a great week! During the next two weeks our theme is "Mi Familia/ My Family." In this first week our children will learn about the members of their family, including: mom, dad, brother, sister, and pet if they have one. Mom and dad could help at home by showing pictures in which your child can see and point out the family members.
Song of the Week:
Tengo una Familia
Tengo una familia y es fenomenal
Mi papa me ama mi mama igual
Con mis hermanitos yo puedo jugar
Y mis abuelitos bailan sin cesar.(x2)
Con este chachacha
La familia aprenderás
Respeto a papa amo mi mama
Mi abuelo y mi abuela felices están
Esta es mi familia, es mi dulce hogar.
Chachachacha amo a mi mama
Chachachacha amo a mi papa (x2)

Rima/Rhyme #1:
Mi mamá me mima
Que linda es mi mamá

Rima/Rhyme #2:
Yo amo a mi familia
Y mi familia me ama
A mi.

Juegos Dactilares/Fingerplays:
Mi mano manito
Con 5 deditos
Este es el chiquito
Este pide queso
Este pide pan
Este se lo parte
Y este se lo da.

Student of the week:
Thank you to our wonderful Abejitas parents for signing up in our Student of the Week Activity.
Thanks for the parents who have already come and shared this special moment with us.

Important Upcoming Dates: October 23rd
Parent’s Night out from 6 – 9pm. $25 per child. This parent’s night out is a fundraising for our upcoming Holiday Party in December. If you are interested, make sure to RSVP at the front desk.
October 30th: Trick or Treat. The activity will start at 3:30pm. We will start dressing up children as soon as they wake up from their nap time. Please help our classroom and provide healthy snacks and treats to share with the other children. Sign-up sheet will be posted outside the classroom starting on Monday. The treats must be nut free. Please avoid hard candy or any items that are choking hazards. The treats the children collect will be in their cubbies until is time to go home so that you can decide what your child may eat.
Also, we are looking volunteers to help us with the trunk or treat. More information at the desk.
As always thank you for your support!
Ms. Elsa &Ms. Guadalupe
