Week of May 2nd- 6th

Abejitas Classroom
Ms. Elsa & Ms. Maria Guadalupe
May 2nd thru May 06th
Theme: The Animal Kingdom

 Dear Abejitas Parents
This week our Abejitas will start learning about the animal kingdom. We have planned lots of fun activities such as playing with toy animals and trying making different sounds. As always we will continue working fine and gross motor skills as this is a very important part in your child’s development.

We also would like to ask for your help with short stories reading at home. You can also help us by nurturing your child’s curiosity by showing pictures of animals. Children learn so much more through activities that capture their attention and imaginations.

During class, our little ones will enjoy dancing and singing the song “Animales de la Selva”.  This is a song about animals, animals’ shapes and sounds and what food they need to survive. Please encourage your child to listen to this song at home too. This is one of several new songs featuring our new Sff! CD.

Song of the Week
Animales de la Selva
Los animales que hay en la selva
Tú los vas repetir
Algunos gordos otros muy altos
Igual nos vamos a divertir.
El elefante que está muy grande
Y la jirafa que alta es
Y el monito que salta y salta
El cocodrilo… me va a mordre
Los animales……..
Es un león que esta enojón
Es la serpiente que es muy decente
Y la tortuga come lechuga
Y el ratón (donde está el ratón?)
Ya se escondió.
Los animales

Rhyme #1

En el río está tranquilo

Rhyme #2

En la trompa lleva un guante
