Week of September 21st- September 25th

Theme of the Week: "How I Grow and Change" / “Como Crezco y Cambio”

Dear Abejitas Parents,

This week we will continue learning about "Como Cresco y Cambio”/ How I Grow and Change". We will be working on different activities, while having fun and learning as much as we can.  Mom and dad could help at home by showing pictures of their grandparents, elderly friends, or other family members letting them know about our topic. Spending time with your child is a way of enhancing their education. They feel so special through sharing with you.

Student of the week: 

Parents:  This is a friendly reminder to make sure to sign up to our special Student of the Week Activity that started this month.  We would like to know more about your child, your family, and the things that your child likes. Our Sign-up sheet is posted outside our classroom.

Remember how important these activities are for our kids. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Important Reminders:

·         All parents need to cover their shoes when entering the classroom.

·         Knock before entering the room and make sure that no one is behind the door.

·         Wash your hands and your child’s hands when you enter the classroom.

·         Read and complete the journal daily.

·         Label all of your child’s items (bottles, clothes, food, etc.)

Please make sure you bring the following items:

• Extra clothes (weather appropriate)
• Diapers and wipes
• Diaper cream and sunscreen (with authorization form)
• Family picture (It’s very important)
• Five individual passport size pictures

Upcoming Events:

Sept 24^th: Fall pictures. Make sure to send your child’s shirt that day.  Yearbook pictures will be taken that morning. Children who do not attend on Thursdays, are welcome to come any time during the morning to have their picture taken.
