Theme of the Week: "My School and I"

 

Hello Abejitas Parents!

We hope you had a wonderful week.

This past week we had a great time learning so many things about our new friends and our new classroom. We had the opportunity to get to know each one of them pretty well by focusing in their very specific and individual needs. We planned many activities for our little ones to allow them to develop language, motor, and cognitive skills through playing, sensing, dancing, and more. Next week we will continue with the theme “My School and I - Mi Escuela y Yo” while learning and exploring a new environment, including the areas of our center like: the director office, the kitchen, and the other classes.  We are sure that our little Abejitas will love it. Mom and dad could help at home by reading small stories with them that follow this theme.

Special Event:                                                                                                                                                                                                          On Tuesday, August 25- We will take a tour of the entire center.

Important Reminders
·          All parents need to cover their shoes when entering the classroom.
·          Knock before entering the room and make sure that no one is behind the door.
·          Wash your hands and your child’s hands when you enter the classroom.
·          Read and complete the journal daily.
·          Label all of your child’s items (bottles, clothes, food, etc.)

Please make sure you bring the following items with your child that we need to have at school:

• Extra clothes (weather appropriate)

• Diapers and wipes
• Diaper cream and sunscreen (with authorization form)
• Family picture (It’s very important)
• Five individual passport size pictures

Also, please be sure to submit filled out a form, signed by you, for any creams that are to be applied during school hours.
