Week of June 22nd-26th

Abejitas Class
Ms. Elsa& Ms. Maria Guadalupe
Theme of the week: “We are going camping.”

Hola Abejitas parents,
We had so much fun this past week! Our Abejitas enjoyed our various activities each day, and summer arrived! It’s wonderful at Sff! Our theme for this week is: “Nos vamos de Campamento” / “We are going camping”. We have many activities planned for this week, so please make sure to read our “Activities” section to make sure your child doesn’t miss anything!  Mom and Dad could help at home by talking to your child about summer weather and enjoying every moment!

Welcome:
We would like to give a warm welcome to Camila. Welcome to Abejitas Class!

Bienvenida Camila!

 Special activities of the week:
·         Monday 22nd: We are explorers. We will pretend to explore with a canteen and binoculars.
·         Tuesday 23th: We will pretend to make a fire with paper rolls. We will sing songs and dance around it!
·         Wednesday 24th: We will have a delicious picnic and will enjoy the aromas of nature and the food. We will also see and feel the texture of different real fruits.
.         Thursday 25th:  We will walk outside and listen to the sounds of nature.
·         Friday 26th: Pajama day. Please bring your child to school wearing their favorite pajamas. To make this day even more fun; we are going camping! We will pretend to sleep outside.

Friendly reminders:
Recyclable Material this week
Part of our mission at summer camp is to work with recyclable materials. This week we will be collecting recycled paper and shoe boxes, as well as, large tents, canteens, and binoculars for our activities. Please bring in as much as you can. Be on the lookout next week for what we will be recycling!

Splash Days!
Our splash day will begin on the first week of July. We will announce the Abejitas dates next week.

Please make sure you bring the following items with your child to the 1st day of summer camp:
