Theme of the week: “Mis Tradiciones Familiares /My Family Traditions”

Hola Abejitas Parents,

December is finally here! We have many things to learn and do during this very special month! Christmas is just around the corner - this means our big holiday party is too! Therefore our dear Abejitas will continue learning about our theme, “Mis tradiciones familiares/My family traditions.” This is very interesting theme and we will need your help!  We would love to have you in our class talking with our little ones for a few minutes about how you celebrate or the importance of what you and your family do during this holidays. The Children in Abejitas class will continue to enjoy singing the song “Tradiciones y Costumbres/Traditions and Customs.”  This song talks about the most important holidays or celebrations that are traditional in this country.  Parents, please encourage your child to listen to this song at home too. It can be found on our Sff! CD.

Friendly Reminders:
●      Label your child’s jackets; any unlabeled jackets will be put in the lost and found items.
●      Wash your hands and your child's hands when entering the classroom.
●      Read and complete the journal daily.
●      Label all of your child's items (Bottles, clothes, food, etc.).

*December 16^th:  Holiday Party. Mark your calendars! We are counting on you for this event!

This week we are having our rehearsals with the Holiday song “Navidad Rock” It’s very important to confirm your child's participation in our Holiday party as soon as possible.

School will close at 2:30pm, with the objective of leaving time to prepare for this activity.

*December 18^th: Sff! will receive a special visit from Santa Claus. (More information is coming soon.)

* December 24th - 25th – School Closed Christmas Holiday

* December 31^st: School Closes at 12:30

 *January 1^st: School Closed.   Happy New Year!
