Abejitas Class
Ms. Elsa & Ms. Maria Guadalupe
Theme of the Week: “Knights and Princesses”
Week of July 27th – July 31st

Dear Parents,
This week our Abejitas will start a new theme, “The Knights and The Princess”. We will enjoy reading stories, singing songs, and showing pictures during circle time to learn more about our theme of the week. Please don’t forget to read our “Activities” section so that our Abejitas don’t miss anything! Mom and Dad could help at home by reading small stories with them that follow this theme.

Special activities of the week:
Wednesday July 29th - Please bring in any knight or princess toys for your child that you may have at home.

Friday 31st We will have our “Party at the Castle.” Children should come dressed as knights and princesses for our parade. They will be walking on a red carpet as the teacher describes the clothing. Finally we will follow a classical dance using different musical rhythms in the kingdom. Our Abejitas will love it.

Recyclable Materials Needed This Week:
Part of our mission at summer camp is to work with recyclable materials. This week we will be collecting lids of different sizes of fabric scraps for our activities. Please bring as many as you can. Be on the lookout next week for what we will be recycling!
