Hola Abejitas Parents!

This is the last week we will be talking about “Mis Sentidos”/”My Senses” As always we have new and fun activities planned each day for our Abejitas. Our senses allow us to learn, to protect ourselves to enjoy our world. Can you imagine what it might be like to live your life without any of your senses? Last week we had fun learning about sight, taste, and touch and this week we will focus to learn about smell and hearing. Miss Milly and I want to congratulate our Abejitas because they are doing an excellent job.

We are really proud of them!!!

Special Events:

Congratulations to our student of the week –Valeria Pellicer!  We are ready to know and learn more about you.  Felicidades : )

Also Abejitas class want to congratulate and thanks Jovanny Carrion and his family for their excellent participation last week and we hope to have all our little ones enjoying and participating on this activity. Gracias!

Friendly Reminders:

·              We are still missing some family pictures; please don’t forget to bring your own next week. We are working in our Family Area and we need your help to complete it.

·              Please take the time to come and sign out our student of the week sheet, remember how important these activities are for our babies.

Important Upcoming Dates:

·             October 15th: Sff! Uniform Picture Day.

·             October 16th: Fall Picture Day. Make sure to write Fall pictures under Special Request Section so we know you are interested in Fall pictures. We will be the first class to start with individuals pictures at 8:30 am.

** Teddy Bear Forms were sent home already. Make sure to return them as soon as possible.

·          October 20th: 1st Field Trip (All classrooms) Save the date and join us on this amazing first field trip to Ganyard Hill Farm 319 Sherron Rd. Durham, NC 27703 .

Permission Slips form were sent home already. Make sure to return them as soon as possible.

·        October 31st: Costume Parade. We will start our costume parade at 10:00am. It will be a fun morning! Donations for healthy snack and treats for children are welcome.

Our Classroom Rules:

1- All parents need to cover their shoes when entering to the classroom.

2- Knock before entering the room, making sure that no one is behind the door.

3- Wash your hands and your child’s hands when you enter the classroom.

4- Fill out the journal daily.

5- Label all your child’s items.
