Week of August 11Th – 15th 2014

Hola! 

We would like to give you a warm welcome to Abejitas class!

Miss Milly and  I are really glad to begin our new school year 2014-2015 with you and your child!!!
We had planned many activities for your little ones to allow them develop language, motor and cognitive skills like playing, reading, painting,  singing, dancing, etc. We are happy to have our Abejitas here with us and to offer them a lot of fun while they are learning and exploring new things this year.

Topic:
Our theme for this week is ‘’ Mi Escuela y Yo’’ ‘’My school and Me’’.

Words of the week:
* Mi maestra/My teacher
* Mis Amigos/My friends
*  Hola/Hello
* Adios/Good Bye
* Me llamo/ My name is
* El parque/The park

Special Activities:
On Wednesday August 13th we will have a tour around our school getting to know the kitchen & the chef, the office,  the Director and director asst. & the teachers and children from other classrooms.

Important Reminder:
About our classroom rules,
1-  All parents need cover their  shoes when  coming in to the classroom.
2-  Knock before entering the room, making sure that no one is behind the door.
3-  Wash your hands and your child’s hands when you enter to the classroom.
4-  Fill up and read every day the journal.
5-  Label all your child’s items (bottles, clothes, food)


Please make sure you bring the following items with your child the 1st day of school:
  • Extra clothes (weather appropriate)
  • Diapers and wipes
  • Diaper cream and suns cream (with authorization form)
  • Blanket (please bring it every Monday morning and take it home every Friday evening to be washed)
  • Family picture
  • 5 individual passport size pictures
Also, please make sure your creams have a form filled out and signed by you with specific indications.
We hope to have all your  support during this new school year.
Together we will make a memorable and fun year for our little ones.
