Week of February 6 - 10

Dear Abejitas Parents
 
This week we begin working the theme “The Vegetable Kingdom”- El Reino
Vegetal; and we will learn about the plants and its parts. We will be
working on a special art project for Valentine’s Day too.
 
The words we will learn this week are:
Las plantas-The plants
Las flores-The flowers
Las hojas-The leaves
El fruto-the fruit
El jardin-The garden
El Corazon-The heart
Un abrazo-A hug
Un beso- A kiss
 
Special events:
Next Tuesday is Valentine’s Day and we will have tons of fun celebrating
it in our classroom. If you would like to bring something to share please
consider: stickers, tattoos, gold fish, cup cakes, juice drinks, and cards
(Abejitas 2 only)
 
Reminders:
Please don’t forget to write down on your child’s journal or on our board,
the last diaper change before coming to the school.
And please make sure your child has enough wipes and diapers for the week.
 
Thank you for your book donations towards our Abejitas class library. We
are very happy with the new additions.
 
Last day of Scholastic Book Fair is Friday February 10th.
